Black Hard drawn Wire (General Purpose)
A wire that is hard drawn from low carbon mild steel rod for general applications such as coat hangers, BBQ grids, shelves, etc. Wire is pickled and phosphated and supplied either in coils or on dollies or bobbins.
Black Hard drawn Wire (Fasteners and Nails)
A wire that is hard drawn from low carbon, polished mild steel rod for the manufacturing of cold heading products such as bolts, nuts, and screws. Wire is pickled and well phosphated to assist in the cold heading operation and also enhance shelf life.
Black Inter Annealed Wire (Fasteners)
A wire that is drawn from low carbon polished steel rod, annealed and then given a final draw of 3% to produce wire in a "soft" state, for the manufacturing of bolts and screws for specialized applications. A very low carbon SAE/AISI 1004 mild steel wire is also produced for the manufacturing of semi tubular rivets.
Black Spheroidized Wire (High Tensile Bolts)
A wire that is drawn from various qualities high carbon polished steel rod, spheroidized and then given a final draw of 3% to produce high tensile wire with a tensility in the order of 500 Mpa, ideal for the manufacturing of bolts for special applications such as the Motor industry.
Black Cut-to-Length Wire (To customers spesifications)
A low carbon wire in hard drawn state cut to customers's spesifications for various applications.
Electrode Core Wire
A wire manufactured from special Low Temperature Welding steel rod, to world accepted specifications, for the manufacturing fo all welding rods using steel as a base metal. The wire is supplied in coils or in straight lengths to international standard gauges.
Copper Coated Submerged Arc Welding Wire (All grades)
A wire manufactured from special Welding steel rod, (S1 and S2) in all gauges, copper coated and supplied to customer specification packaging.
Galvanized Wire (Low Carbon Low Tensile)
A wire manufactured from low carbon mild steel rod and then galvanized through the normal process to produce a fully or lightly galvanized product, with a tensile strength in the order of 420 Mpa.
Galvanized Wire (Low Carbon High Tensile)
A wire manufactured from low carbon mild steel rod and the galvanized through a special process to produce a lightly galvanized product with a tensile strength very close to that of it's black counter part in size/gauge.
Galvanized Wire (High Carbon High Tensile)
A wire manufactured from high carbon steel rod to produce a high strain lightly or fully galvanized wire ideal for fenzing on domestic or game farms.
Mandrill Wire (Blind Rivets)
A wire manufactured from SAE/AISI 1018 or 1020 medium carbon steel rod for the manufacturing of blind (pop) rivets.
Baling Wire (After Annealed Black)
A wire manufactured from low carbon mild steel rod, drawn to the preferred size. The wire is then annealed and not drawn again, to produce a "super soft" wire that is extensively used on farms or in the paper industry for baling or binding purposes.
